Keynote: Industry 4.0 – Future of Growth, Productivity and Sustainability
The largest sector of the world economy is in the midst of its digital transformation, which makes it one of the most exciting things happening right now. The market of Industry 4.0 solutions is expected to surpass a whopping $1 trillion by 2030. We challenge the way we make things, from design and engineering to production, service operations and supply chains – all aspects of manufacturing are undergoing significant changes.
Based on practical examples across the industries, from food production to mining and from fashion to petrochemicals, we will discuss how manufacturing companies are already realising the business value of Industry 4.0. We will analyse the major trends, opportunities and challenges of this journey, and see how Industry 4.0 leads to a global transformation of the whole industrial sector, bringing it to the next level of efficiency and sustainability.
Our speaker Jane Zavalishina is the President and Co-founder of Mechanica AI, a provider of AI-based solutions for the industrial sector. For over 15 years, she held various executive positions within Yandex, one of Europe’s largest internet companies, being in charge of using innovative technologies to create new and transform traditional businesses. In 2018 she co-founded Dutch tech start-up Mechanica AI, bringing AI to the industrial production. Jane is a frequent speaker on the topics of industrial transformation at various events in Europe, Middle East and Asia. She is also a member of the World Economic Forum initiative “Future of Production”. In 2016, Jane was named in Silicon Republic’s Top 40 Women in Tech as an Inspiring Leader. She is also recognized by Inspiring Fifty as one of the top fifty most inspirational women in the technology sector in the Netherlands in 2016, 2017 and 2019.
This event is hosted by Epicenter Amsterdam (Fred. Roeskestraat 115) and will be held at their Cuddle Puddle on the ground floor. You are welcome at 15:30 pm and the talk starts at 16:00 pm sharp. So make sure you have secured your seat by then.
